According to the Bank of Zambia’s Financial and Other Statistics report for 2025, a total of K3.9 trillion was transacted through the Zambia Electronic Clearing House (ZECHL) and the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) System. The report seen by the Zambian Business Times-ZBT shows that K183.5 billion came from Zambia Electronic Clearing House transactions, an increase compared to K167.5 billion recorded in the previous year.
