According to the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) 2025 Annual Statistical Bulletin, Western Province had only 13 filling stations as of 2025, making it the province with the lowest number of retail sites with the highest, Lusaka recording about 286 stations. The report further indicated that Puma Energy Zambia had 4 retail sites, Mount Meru Petroleum Zambia Limited 3, and Refuel 2, while Vivo Energy Zambia, Total Energies Zambia, Rubis Zambia Limited and Hass each had one.
