Aussie firm to acquire Zambian Uranium mine

Atomic Eagle Limited, has entered into a binding option agreement to acquire 100% of the Sitwe Uranium Project, a largescale exploration licence spanning 429 km² in Zambia’s highly prospective Luangwa Valley Karoo Basin. The agreement represents a 38% increase in Atomic Eagle’s tenement holdings and consolidates its position as a leading uranium explorer and developer in Zambia, complementing its flagship Muntanga Uranium Project. Under the terms of the Option Agreement, seen by the Zambian Business Times – ZBT, Atomic Eagle, via its Zambian subsidiary, must incur a minimum of $200,000 in exploration and licence-related expenditure prior to 30 June 2027....
