Zambia recorded a trade surplus of K3.5 billion in April 2026, a significant rise from the K0.9 billion surplus recorded in March, according to official government data. The growth was driven by a 1.5% increase in exports, which rose from K25.0 billion in March to K25.4 billion in April.
