Kapasa Makasa University VC accused of ignoring students’ concerns

A decision to introduce a new Grade Point Average (GPA) grading system during ongoing examinations sparked a riot at Kapasa Makasa University earlier this week, disrupting academic activities and leading to the temporary suspension of exams and the arrest of 74 students.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Zambian Business Times, a source whose details have been withheld due to the sensitivity of the matter, revealed that the riot was triggered by the abrupt implementation of the new grading system without adequate consultation.
