FQM delivers nearly $1 billion in taxes to the Zambian Govt in 2025

First Quantum Minerals (FQM) has reinforced its reputation for fiscal responsibility by contributing over $902 million in taxes to the Zambian government in 2025, according to the company’s recently released Tax Transparency & Contributions Report. FQM, which operates the Kansanshi Mining Plc and FQM Trident mines in Zambia, reported global revenues of approximately $4.3 billion in 2025. Of this, its total economic contribution to the Zambian economy amounted to $3.4 billion, including the $902 million in taxes.
