The latest Auditor General’s Report has exposed serious procurement irregularities in the Ministry of Education (MoE) involving a K4,471,602.80 contract awarded to Kayombo Tech Limited for the drilling and equipping of 32 boreholes across Luapula and North-Western provinces.
According to the report, Kayombo Tech Limited signed the contract with the Ministry on 10th June 2024 for the drilling and equipping of boreholes in 32 secondary schools eight in Luapula and twenty-four in North-Western Province.
