Airtel Zambia has launched a Bundle Bonanza promotion aimed at encouraging customers to embrace digital services through its MyAirtel App, while rewarding them with prizes for purchasing bundles.
The promotion offers customers a chance to win smartphones, bicycles, grocery hampers, shopping vouchers and solar home kits, with a brand-new Toyota Hilux as the grand prize to be awarded to the winner in January 2027.
Speaking during the launch attended by Zambian Business Times -ZBT, Airtel Zambia Marketing Director Pratyush Gosh said the promotion was designed to increase the use of the company’s digital services and reward customers for using the application.
Gosh said the company wanted to encourage customers to use the application for more than just checking their account balances.
“It’s about creating a habit. It’s about going back to the app whenever you need any service with Airtel,” he said.
He said the application provided customers with a clearer and more visual platform for purchasing bundles, transferring money and accessing other services.
“It’s more clear, it’s more visual, it’s more secure,” he said, adding that the application made transactions easier to navigate.
Gosh said the promotion was only the beginning, with Airtel planning to introduce more rewards for activities conducted through the application in the coming months.
“What you will see here is just the beginning. As we go along, two to three months down the line, we’ll come back to you with more rewards for activities that you do on the app,” he said.
Under the promotion, customers earn entries into prize draws by purchasing qualifying bundles through the MyAirtel App, with the number of entries corresponding to the amount spent.
For instance, a customer purchasing a K10 daily bundle earns 10 entries valid for 24 hours, while a K100 monthly bundle earns 100 entries valid for 30 days.
However, purchases made through USSD will not qualify for the promotion, as customers must buy eligible bundles directly through the MyAirtel App to participate.
