Access Bank Zambia limited has failed to give valid reasons behind the over $433,800 immigration and border fees collected on behalf of the government but was not remitted to the treasury on 31st August 2026. Brief fact seen in the 2025 Auditor General’s report by the Zambian Business Times- ZBT indicates that in 2024, Access Bank (Zambia) Limited was appointed as an Agent to collect revenue in respect of immigration fees such as VISA and Boarder pass fees.
