Two Chinese mining companies, Sinomine Geological Engineering Resources Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinomine Resource Group Co. Ltd. (Beijing), and Deco Luck Investments Limited, whose ownership and control are foreign, have joined forces to develop a medium-grade copper deposit in Lusaka Province. The mining site is situated in the Chiawa area of Kafue District, Lusaka Province, approximately 102 kilometers east of Kafue’s central business district.
