The Zambia Land Alliance (ZLA) has revealed that according to the Fencing Act a neighbor who fails to pay for a fence but agrees to pay late is obliged to add an interest of six percent. Speaking in an interview with the Zambian Business over the rampant wrangles that ensue from fencing, ZLA Executive Director Patrick Musole said there is a deep lack of awareness of the fencing law; as a result, disputes keep on increasing.
